THE POLYPHONY BAND

Date : Tentative

The Polyphony is (as of now) a three piece rock band from Jaipur, India.
The band was officially named on 12th February 2013, though the origin of the band goes back to 2010.
Comprising mainly guitar players, we play a variety of genres, progressive rock being the focus of covers and original work.

Soumyajit Ghosh

Soumyajit Ghosh is an Indian table tennis player from Siliguri, West Bengal.
He was the youngest Indian player to qualify for the London, 2012 Olympics.
He also became the youngest national champion at the age of 19, when he defeated Sharath Kamal in the 74th National Table Tennis Championships.
Ghosh is supported by the GoSports Foundation, Bangalore and has been part of their scholarship programme since 2012.

Walkathon Initiative

Marathon is likely to trace its path along the MNIT College and Calgiri Marg, starting and ending at the college.

When an individual steps out to stand up for a change, the torch is lightened up. But when the society comes along to embrace the change, it's the new epoch of melioration.

A similar initiative to bring the society together to foster enrichment of conscience within the students, parents and teachers and to meet the need of setting up an education system that prepares the students to combat all the challenges surfacing up in life; and live it to the fullest;
MNIT feels obliged to host a Marathon,during its three day annual sports event MST'16..

A trial of strength in which two people sit opposite each other with one elbow resting on a table, clasp each other's hands, and try to force each other's arm down on to the table.

Cricket Shoot-Out's

'Shootout' will have five bowlers from each side bowling one ball each at the unguarded stumps.
The five bowlers will be nominated by the captain, with a toss deciding which team gets to bowl first.

MST Volleyball League
